It’s no question that a lot of Christmas goodies come with batteries–and long after the shiny new toys under the tree have faded, those batteries will be sitting in your local landfill, doing nothing good. Sanyo would like to change that for you. That’s why it is introducing its all new and improved line of Eneloop rechargeable batteries just in time for the holidays.
These new batteries come in AA and AAA sizes and are now available at a Costco new you. According to Sanyo, they’re good for approximately 500 more charges than previous Eneloop batteries of this size, and should retain 75% of their charge for up to three years.
These new Eneloop 1500-cycle batteries come in combo-pack containing a 4-position charger, eight (8) AA batteries and four (4) AAA batteries and sells for $25.99. Currently, these batteries lead the industry for rechargeables by recharging approximately 1,500 times–hence the name.
